MEET CHRISTIAN
Christian Simmerling is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, awarded in 2015 under Josh Russell at JR Academy.
He trained in Calgary, Alberta from 2007 to 2016 before relocating to New Jersey, where he stepped onto the mats at two of the most respected academies on the East Coast: the Blue Basement at Renzo Gracie Academy on West 30th, and Silver Fox BJJ. He trained under John Danaher and Karel "Silver Fox" Pravec — and somewhere between those two rooms, the idea for a better soap stopped being a passing thought and became the product you're reading about now.
Christian has trained thousands of jiu-jitsu athletes across North America, competed in the sport, and built working knowledge of what BJJ athletes actually need after training.
